Day 1 Interlaken

Day 2 Interlaken
Today you have an included excursion to the Jungfraujoch, known world-wide as the “Top of Europe.” The Jungfraujoch is a saddle between the Mönch and the Jungfrau amongst the Bernese Alps in the Jungfrau-Aletsch Protected Area, and is the lowest point on the mountain ridge between Mönch and Jungfrau.
Included Jungfraujoch Excursion: Board a unique, modern cogwheel railway to Kleine Scheidegg at 6,762 feet. From there, the Jungfrau railway climbs to the Eiger Glacier station, well known for its mountain restaurant and polar dog kennels. Then continue through the Eiger tunnel stopping to enjoy spectacular vistas on the way to the highest railway station in Europe, The Jungfraujoch.

Day 3 Interlaken, Lucerne
Your trip from Interlaken to Lucerne is by your choice of Golden Pass Panoramic train or you can take a boat cruise from Interlaken to Brienz then continue by rail to Lucerne.

Day 4 Lucerne
Today’s included rail excursion is up Mt. Pilatus – aka the Dragon Mountain. Why Dragon Mountain? In medieval times, it was believed that friendly dragons with healing powers lived on Mount Pilatus. Today, the dragon is the symbol of the mountain.
Included Mt Pilatus Excursion: Travel by train or boat to Alpnachstad and by the world’s steepest cogwheel railway (48% gradient) to Mt. Pilatus. Then after plenty of free time to enjoy your experience before returning by cable car and bus via Kriens to Lucerne.
